Our goal is to provide same day ultrasound services at our Florence or Cold Spring locations every day we are open. This service is critical. In 2019, 92% of women who were considering abortion chose life through adoption or parenting after receiving ultrasound confirmation of pregnancy.

Because Care Net is a medical facility, we are required to have registered nurses or nurse practitioners conduct clients’ medical histories. Most RNs and NPs aren’t trained or certified to perform ultrasounds. Certification is a six- to 12-month process. We must be able to train and certify our staff.

To retain qualified medical staff, we must be able to offer competitive wages. The current average starting rate for registered nurses is $25 per hour, with comprehensive benefits, shift differential and wage increase after one year. Our starting rate is $17 per hour with no benefits or shift differential and a minimal increase after one year.
